M4L/Max Consultancy

If you want a custom device building, or you're stuck on a particular part of a project, be it a technical problem with the LOM, or more generic details of design and architecture of your patches, Max and M4L, I offer a consultancy service to help you on your way. I have over 20 years commercial software development in a number of languages and environments, along with 3 years of Max/M4L experience, so even if it doesn't fit into this realm feel free to drop me a line and I'll see if I can help you out.

Python Remote Scripting

I also offer remote scripting work and have provided scripting to a number of private clients, as well as to companies such as Isotonik Studios and ZeroConfig (creators of touchAble), whose expertise lies elsewhere. This allows me to develop complete solutions with tight integration into Live via the Python API and additional functionality via M4L. My own Grildlock platform uses a combination of both to alleviate some of the problems faced when using M4L alone.

Gridlock Hardware Customisation

Custom controller builds are becoming more and more common, with a number of manufacturers now offering plug and play, or bespoke builds to construct the controller of your dreams. If this is the case and you want to use the wealth of Gridlock features, present and future, along with its highly configurable environment and support in Max for Live, I offer a customisation service where I'll produce a version of Grildock tailored specificly to your shiny new hardware.
